PS MG frames were metal, the bodywork was formed over wood! Marcos is the only wooden-framed car I can think of, though I'm sure there may be others!

I think we need to be specific here. Morgans do not have wooden chassis frames, but they do have wooden body frames. Like old MGs in fact, as Mike said. Some Edwardian and 1920s cyclecars had wooden chassis frames - the first GNs for example, the predecessors of Frazer-Nash and HRG.
In modern times I don't remember any production cars, apart from Marcos, with wooden chassis frames.
 
Franklins had wooden frames, oak, if memory serves me correctly
