I was in the process of installing my new Koyo throwout bearing so I can hook my tranny up and come to find out that the new bearing's track that holds the fork pins is .005" too small. It won't go on. TRF of course is sending a new bearing out...Monday. It won't arrive till Thursday. That's another week. Well, I guess I can install my new Wilton Wool interior and finish cleaning out my rockers. (Not in that order!) I really, really wanted to get this engine in. I even tried the old bearing and it slid on perfectly with the new fork. Plus, I had a spare Koyo with about 8K miles on it, it fit too. All the components of the Magic Clutch are new, including the fork and cross shaft. That is the only way they will warrantee the new system. No way will I go back in with a used TO bearing. Not after all this trouble. I may end up towing my car to the car show in March. This is getting frustrating. I know how Tinster feels.

Seems like it was their problem and they admitted it.

I would have insisted on overnight air freight/expedited shipping. The pros can't afford the downtime and neither can you.

I wouldn't be surprisd it the new one has the same dimensions as the one and won't fit. They probably buy them in batches.
