Every year I try to celebrate with our friends to the north the late queen Victoria's Day. I celebrate it by walking the beautiful grounds of the VanDusen Botanical Garden. Ok so there happens to be a couple of hundred pretty and not so pretty British cars there.
This years it is on the 17th and as of today the weather is suppose to be perfect. 70 degrees plus. I know that is a long way off but, we can hope. It has been a while since the weather has been nice for this.

Who can I expect to see?

Oh..........

I thought that you received a new order of goodies from Victoria British.......

Don....
It's on Monday May 19th this year not the 17th.
Heaven forbid you enjoy yourself on the wrong day!
I don't think she'd be amused.

the local Tr club shows it on the 17th. What gives. It's always been on Sat.

(Victoria Day Weekend)

VanDusen Botanical Garden, 37th & Oak Street, Vancouver

The OECC website shows it on the 17th. I was there a couple of years ago, great selection of cars in a lovely setting. Never saw a Jowett before. Even the food concession in the park is good.

Don,
I'll be there, a couple of us will be driving our cars up from Portland on Friday and staying at the Abercorn. Will you be there for Pub Nite?
This will be my third time, started in 2006, Great venue, great event...wonderful people.
See you there!
Paul

I guess that means the meet is on the Victoria day weekend whereas the actual holiday is on the Monday; we're all correct I guess.

Graham, what do you expect from us "Mericans".
I do apologize that i was not up to speed on the correct day of the real holiday.
God save the Queen

Paul- I will just be up for the day. Have to be back by Sunday morning . I won't even have any of the cars with me.Never stayed at the Abercorn before. Usually stayed in town.

That's my old home town. I would love to join you, but it's a 3,000 mile trip. One way.

Carlisle has it's Import and Replica event on Victoria Day weekend. PA is a lot closer for me. No flowers though.

I was planning on going, but with the
gas prices, etc.,I'll be going to the meet
in Woodland,CA (just North of Sacramento).
The scenery's worth the trip (Canada).

Everybody ,This is a reminder. S'pose to be a beautiful day

unfortunatly I won't make this one.Work got in the way. :wall: This will be the third one i've missed in 23 years.
Should be a good show what with the good weather and all. Enjoy

Even though my Triumph won't be ready, think i will journey over from the Island in the MGA ( can i say that here?) For me, its one of the best shows around, and it should be even better with the weather they are forcasting!

As I said in th other FORUM.
I be wearing my BCF t shirt
