Yeah. saw it and decided if da' mits wanted to have use of one at the same time I did, this would fit the need. Shorter when collapsed (1'9" L.O.A.) and easily portable as well. Manfrotto "725B Digi" w/ball head. She's currently visiting with her mum for the past week and doesn't know about this yet. So a bit of a welcome home thing.

Set beside the other one (2'4" collapsed) it looks kinda puny, but stable enough when set up.

Shorter when collapsed but it looks like it has an extra extension?

It does. Not sure if it'll be "spindly" with a heavy lens but seems fine with a 70~300 DX. Yet to try it with the 80~400.

Had time to try it with the heavy lens at full extension on the legs. Seems fine on concrete, didn't raise the center section. It would be better with some weight hanging from the center column though.

Three months later and the smaller 725 is with 'mits down south. She's gone for another week-long visit with mum, wanted to take the 'pod with. We'll see what her result and opinion is.
