does anyone know what the Ignition Key warning circuit on the 71 TR6, it seems to be missing from my car because I have a black green wire hanging under the dash and the BG goes to a switch and then to ground. and what ever that round thing the the black green come from is missing. I hope I can live without it

That would be the buzzer. I understand it to buzz if the key is in and the driver door is opened.

I got mine hooked back up, but can't get the ground when the key is in. I assume the 'switch' is closed when the key is inserted in the ignition switch. I know the column is well grounded (horns work, metered it, etc). The rest of the circuit works great! Just no ground for the buzzer. Short of replacing the ignition switch, anybody have ideas?

btw, it didn't ground properly before I did the body off frame

well worse case I just connect purple orange, to purple orange and skip the buzzer and put a sleeve on the black green wire and do with out the buzzer

I have buzzers anyway

Hondo. I don't have any of that buzzer, key light or what ever on my 71. Ya don't need it really. Unless you are running a complete stock concourse car.
