TR2/3/3A Another TR3 Piston Ring Gap Question

I'm using 86mm pistons/sleeves on my rebuild and am measuring ring gaps. I am using the TR4 spec .010 - .015" for the compression rings. What is the appropriate gap for the oil scraper rings? Mine are measuring out to .025". The manual reads something like "Ring gap at all positions .010-.015".
Thanks,
Steve Baker

I've never worried about the oil ring gap but there is some consensus at .015 for cast iron rings. Lately, most kits Ive seen come with the 3 piece oil rings. Gap for those (in general not Triumph specific) runs from .015 to.050, quite a bit of leeway. The center piece has no gap and compresses slightly in the bore.
