This time, the road trip is 4 hours south to St. George to pick up my new 2009 Honda Fit Sport. For once, I'll be able to drive a new car acquisition home. 
I looked around locally quite a bit, but no one was able to produce a car that was what I wanted. I just wanted a stock Fit, no extra dealer add-ons. They seem to like to add on window tints, undercoating, etc. I almost had a deal worked over the phone for one located close to me, but it stopped when the salesman told me about the $1500 in dealer extras.
I've no issue with a dealer making a profit, but wasn't interested in stupid extras. So a few minutes of interneting and a couple phone calls, and a deal was struck for what I was looking for. Jenny and I drive down in the morning, pick up the car and sign the papers, then right back home. I'm excited!
