TR6 Another rally in the TR6

This was a gimmick rally in suburban Dallas/Ft Worth. Mention it only because there are often threads about overheating.
The event lasted 2 1/2 hours of mostly residential driving, though we only travelled 25 miles. It was right at 100F this afternoon when we left the start at 2:15. Mostly we were creeping along looking for landmarks or signs. Got into third gear several times.
The TR6 is bone stock, and never even had me looking closely at the temperature gauge.
Just to point out that while all the new stuff is probably very good, it simply is not true that the car naturally overheats.
The driver and navigator, however, did get pretty hot and consumed many bottles of water.
