hello.

I'm a new member to the board. I own a 1964 Sunbeam Alpine that is 95% complete (I don't think 100% is attainble). I also recently acquired a 1960 Austin Healey Sprite that will be the major project this winter.

I live in the Nashville, TN area. I'm always looking to tap into your expertise (I don't have much of my own), so I'm looking forward to working with everyone here.

Welcome to the Monkey house, MXP. Lots of us Bugeye types hang out at the Spridget forum.
Jack Laird is documenting his restoration with lots of pictures, so you may be able to get an idea of what you are getting into.

Welcome - Would love to see photos...if you're in the Huntsville, AL area, drop by the GarageMahal!

Yes, welcome, indeed. Are you hooked up with the Nashville club? I'm in Clarksville - have we met?

Gentlemen:

Thanks for the warm welcome. I really don't have much in the way of photos, but am planning a lot of work this winter. I've actually got a commitment from a friend in St. Louis to paint the car (for free) if I do the prep work. The car came out of Washington state and from my inspection does not appear to have any body damage and/or rust.

Mickey - We almost certainly haven't met. I haven't hooked up with the Nashville club - yet! I entered my Sunbeam in the 2005 show, but the 2006 show coincided with my daughter's wedding (can you believe it!). We're 90-95% on the Sunbeam, but had many nagging problems this summer/fall that really kept it off the road. I hope to get hooked up with the club more regularly in the spring.

Again, thanks for the welcome.

I missed last year's show, but was at this year's.

Good bunch of folks - there's a meeting tomorrow evening, but I can't make it this month. 6:00 at the Brentwood Grille, off Old Hickory Blvd. Also, be sure to check the website for the Christmas party info.
