Hello to all, been lurking for a while and decided to jump in. Former MGB owner, I now have a 65 E Type coupe, that I will be selling soon. I'm currently infatuated with Austin Healey 100-4s, and am on the look out for a black or BRG one. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about them before buying. Any leads or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rob G.

Welcome, Rob -

Just a matter of time until Russ jumps in regarding your E-type. I believe he's on the prowl!

Mickey

Thanks Mickey. I just place an ad in the classified section (may take a while to post). If it doesn't sell in a week its going on ebay.

Welcome Rob.

I'll be cruising near your area in a few hours as I go down to visit some relatives in southern PA. (Waynesboro)

It's always it's too bad that we can't keep *all* our toys, but I hear you on the beauty of the 100-4.
I made a comment about the great looks of the 100 the other day when I was viewing Scott's latest pictures on ~THIS PAGE~
And I actually met Gerry Coker (the designer of the 100) a few years ago....a neat thrill.

G'luck with your hunt!

Hi There Rob,

"Welcome" to the "BCF" from the Pocono Mtns of PA. You`ll find quite a few folks here from all over PA.

Mickey; Your right about myself jumping in here when I hear a Jag E-Type coming up for grabs but; My love is only for Roadsters. I can`t see having a 2 seater sports car & the top does`nt go down. Nothing personal to all you "Coupe" owners out there.

Rob; If you chime into the Healey section; I`m certain you`ll get all of sorts of good advice and help there.

Happy Hunting,

Russ

Hi Rob. Welcome to BCF...no place better! I grew up in PA, Pittsburgh. Must be something in the water there when it comes to LBC's!

Hi there, Rob G, and welcome to the Forum. I was born and raised in Gettysburg, and we still drive the Healey up there in the warmer months, just for all of the great roads in Adams County and the battlefield. Good luch with your search for a 100-4!

Larry

Welcome...

I'm about an hour north of Da Burgh in Grove City.

The 100-4 is one of my favorites.
Too reliable for me though.

I need something like a Lotus to keep me busy during the long winter.
