Hello, everybody! I've been lurking here so long I feel like I know many of you already. This site has been invaluable in getting the newest member of my family sorted out, so I finally made the plunge and joined up myself.
I live in North Carolina, just outside of Charlotte. Last Sept. I bought my first LBC, a '76 Midget. (I've owned an Alfa and a Fiat before, so I have a passing familiarity with cantankerous sports cars.) After a half a year living with the lil' guy, I'm convinced the MG's reputation for unreliability is undeserved. A few months sorting out the DPO's "repairs," and I love it! It's so simple, so straightforward, so honest. Italian engineering has a certain logic, they say, but English engineering has a better kind.
Looking forward to contributing to the ebb and flow here.
See you in the Spridget forum!
