As I'm in recovery from the butchery the surgeons call femoral artery bypass, Mitsy was thoughtful enough to stop at the library and checked out some DVD's of various movies and shows to hopefully relieve a bit of the boredom. One of 'em is the movie "Hopscotch". Watched it today. Walter Matthau and Glenda Jackson. I consider it a good comedic spy flic and romantic comedy combined, haven't seen it in years. In one of the early scenes Matthau has a long telephoto on a camera around his neck. As he puts it to his face to take some photos, the Nikon trade-name on the prism is unblurred. Either an FE or FM with an MD-11 or MD-12. I was surprised to see the unedited scene. And the language was "unbleeped" as well.

Ooooo, former chief inspector Dreyfus is in it too. I can't really remember if I've seen Hopscotch.

Lom plays a Russian KGB head. It's a worthwhile diversion.
