Talking about cars that is... Discovered by sheer accident that a Renault R4 Van that used to reside here in hinterland (where unique European cars are rarely seen) has been sold to California to a member of the Arcane Auto Society, I'm going to miss seeing it... :rapture:

The proof?

My photo of it from a local car show... https://www.flickr.com/photos/sherlock77/274794250/

And here's the E-Bay auction for it... https://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ren...9&ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&forcev4exp=true

Those were great little vans. Used to see them all the time around here. Simple cheap and reliable. Only thing better was a Pug 404 pickup truck, there is one in which must live somewhere near me still hard at work.

Reserve not met..bidding has ended....so, how did it sell?

Dave- a lot of time when that happens a very interested party will contact the seller and will haggle off line

I don't know if I'd haggle over a Haight-Ashbury van. All it needs is flowers.
