TR2/3/3A Another Differential Question

If you support the axle tubes with jack stands near the brake back-plates, so the axle can rotate...and then you rotate the opening downward, the weight of the diff is enough that the pumpkin will drop out. No spreader needed. Be sure to support it, as it will drop out with shims flying everywhere if you don’t!?! It will slide in just as easily using this technique.
