Got the rebuilt lever arm shocks (thanks Peter C. - Great Job !) & rebuilt distributor (thanks Jeff S. - Nice Work as well !)Installed on the 67 today, also dictated a test drive, which went just fine (what would one expect when using quality parts from the above people !)
- Our 6 month old West Highland Terrier went for a ride also, this was her first official ride in an LBC, Maggie enjoyed very much !

and now the "official" 1st trip of the season in the 74 is on the books, got the battery issue sorted out yesterday (battery had a couple bad cells), Wife & I made a nice hour long tour around the outskirts last evening with the hardtop on (still cold up here but snow is gone)

Here's to the 2012 LBC season !

Yep... Westies are good drivers.

Busby is coming up on 4 this July. Prior to him we had a Cairn Terrier (which is, essentially, a non-white Westie). There are a few other pics of him in another thread here (a week ago or so):

I missed your earlier post, thanks for sharing - to funny - Wife loved the pictures as well, I have read about the Cairn Terrier when reading about the history of the Westie - Our Westie is just about 7 months old, loves going for car rides - going to have to buy or make a good restraint for her that I can connect to seatbelt - I made up a contraption this past weekend when running errands but I could improve on it very much

I wish I could get Busby to enjoy riding in the car (and being well-behaved). Unless he's in my lap (driving) while going to the vet, he doesn't do well in a passenger location. My wife has taken to putting him the carrier (which we don't use much). What sort of contraption did you make?

I had a short leash (about 16" long)with loops on either end, I fastened the seatbelt, fed the leash under lapbelt & clipped a carabiner thru both loops & her collar clip.. kept her inplace but enough slack to sit & move from side to side (loop just slid along lapbelt)... just have to find the balance of enough freedom but not enough to affect the driver or jump out the window

I'll have to give it a try. Thanks.
