Hi,
During my TR-6 restoration project, I found a shop that does absolutely top notch and fair priced work. The shop is called British Auto and is located in Walworth NY (about 7 miles from my house!) Mark Voelkers owns and runs it and he can do just about anything on LBC's. He rebuilds engines, transmissions, carbs, gauges, and anything else mechanical you can think of. I owe my restoration success to him in great part, as he's been a wealth of restoration tips and ideas as I've done almost all the work myself. He also can find hard to get parts, such as A and J type overdrives. He can be reached at 1-800-458-4575. Mark is a gentleman and an honest businessman. Hope this will help some of you looking for a quality shop.
