I'm waiting to see if I'll be the owner of (another) B tonite. I bought a 76 B off E-bay in June, great car, bought it right. Problem is my wife likes it and would like to make it her primary car when the weather is good, her commute is about 45 miles everyday round trip and her Rodeo likes fuel....alot. Anyhow, trying to buy a 79 not to far from here and will know very shortly. I drive my 69 CGT once in a while but since getting it banged up...and now repaired and back on the road..I'm skittish to pull it out of the yard much.

Hi Jack, Jack here.

Glad to hear you got the C up and running again.

Hi Jack...I am also glad to hear about your C being back on the road...Good luck with the 79!

YAHOO!!!!!!! Won the bid on the 79 about ten minutes ago. E-mailed the seller to set up a time ...probaly tuesday...to go either trailer or drive it home. Now my wife will have a B to putt around in. Ever since the wreck with the CGT...and then being whacked by the Freightliner on the way to collect the B I bought in June up in Farmington New Mexico..I'm nervous driving. My kids said I need to buya surplus tank to drive.

Looks good. Good luck with it.

I can tell you from my accident as a passenger a few months ago, I STILL have the jitters when I am not at least the driver. If I am passenger, i literally dread it. I break out in sweat, brace myself at the slightest hint of traffic, etc.

They said that it will go away, but gosh I hope it does it soon.

WOW!! The MGC is back on the road already?!? Must not have been as serious as first thought...

It was serious...its just that I have a nice shop, lots of pals and I worked too hard on it earlier to just let it sit in the shop damaged. Spent lots of days working on it when I should have been on customers cars. It felt so good...that I have officially decided to get out of the customer service business and concentrate on doing what I want to do, specically build projects to sell...built my way..in my colors...spend more time R/Ving and more time wih my wife, kids and four great grandchildren. I'm also planning on getting back into flying and possibly buying a built plane or maybe getting a homebuilt. Biggest priority is getting down to Roswell and picking up the 79B.

Jack you going to just love retirement. Take it from me. You'll wonder how you ever had time to work.
