On my way back from Atlanta i stopped in at a buddy place to look at his 67 BGT and TR8 for sale. The GT just had to follow me home. The paint job looks like it was done at k-mart but the engine bay is great. He painted the engine bay while the trans was out for repair. It has never had patch panels installed and appears to be all original metal. That said it does need lower front fender work and dog legs. Very minor stuff and i will probably repair the rust and try to dumb down some paint to match whats there. At some point it will probably need to find another home. It has a new windshield and Motolita wood wheel. I will pick it up next week and get better pics. Bob

Good one, Bob....my '67 GT is probably my favorite MG to drive!

Nice score on that 67. It looks to be in great shape. It is a shame what happened to the MGA that came with the package.

I was haggling with a guy on a 67 GT here in Fl, but he got kind of weird when it came to silly things like titles, proper ID tags and things like that. I figured it was better to walk away from that one.

The BGT and the TR8 are his. The MGA is not. His red MGA is still in one piece! The BGT will be a fun little project. Bob

Once upon a time he had a 2 liter B engine and thought maybe he had stuck it in this BGT. I could be wrong. He had so many cars I can;t remeber. Is he selling his TR3? I tried to talk him out of it years ago with no success. He doesn't come to the sports car club meetings any more. I wasn't sure if he was still around.

The 2.0 is in his 65B and my wife purchased the tr3 for me a couple of years ago as a birthday present. I was ready to build it into a stinker. I went to a show and sat in a tr3 and did not fit! I passed the project on to a friend for exactly what i had in it...Maybe a bit less. It went to a good home. I got the TR3 into final primer for him and jambed it out in red so i knew exactly what a great project it would have been. Bob

I remember Larry Diaz telling me once you had a TR3 for sale. I didn't realize it was Duncan's old car. Oh well. I still hope to find another one some day.
