While the last 2 1/2 years have been fun, frustrating, a continual learning experience and a bit costly. Absolutely nothing beats the first time you take a total rebuild out on the road. Thank you all for all your help, I hope you all enjoy the pictures as you have been a big part of this restore. I must publicly thank my partner of many hours and skills most of us would like to posess just a little of what he brings to the table, friends like my budy Dick Ray are hard to come by. So without further adeu here is "Little Blue" my 65 Sprite.

Beautiful!

cool, love that color

Love the bumperless look!

Very nicely done! The bumperless look on a square Spridget just looks so good. You've got a lot to be proud of.

fabulous - I've never seen blue on blue (except the song) - is that original?

Now that is sharp! You've done very well putting her back together. Here's to many miles of happiness.

Very nice Sprite!!! The 65 66 spridgets are definetly my favorite's. I don't think you can beat the clean line's of the stowable top car's and the 65 seat's are the ones I'd put in any spridget. (Currently a 65 and 66 Midget owner)

Gorgeous car! I like how you filled in the bumper mounting holes on the front valence. I'd really like to do this on mine too.

Any special tips/tricks that you learned while doing it?

Very Nice ! that colour looks great, & the bumperless look is great !
That is a car to be proud of ! Now drive the wheels of er' !!
Congrats.

Thanks all, the color is Miata Big Island Blue. Other than the color and lack of bumpers I kept her true to the original. Thoses are the original seats and panels, I plan to put dark blue carpet in later.

The front and rear valance took a few hours and a hammer to make her smooth but as you seem to all agree it was worth the effort.
