Well, since I have the solar filter, I might as well try to shot the upcoming Annular Eclipse (14 Oct). The main part of the eclipse is coming dead center through Albuquerque. I was out today just practicing with different settings. Here's an example at ISO 100, f8, shutter speed 1/640 (focal length about 530mm)
 
Looks like a really good exposure!
 
Any "finals" for us?
