Anne Meara Dies at 85

Anne Meara, Ben Stiller's mother and 1/2 of the comic duo Stiller and Meara, has died at 85. I remember my dad had an album of their stuff that he used to listen to (and laugh out loud).

I saw that yesterday. Remember watching Stiller & Meara on the Ed Sullivan show as a kid.

The Stiller & Meara record was one of the "party records" my folks had. And I recall being amused at the disparity in their heights when the were on the Sullivan show.

And what was considered risqué back in those days is "quaint" in comparison to what we see and hear these days..
