An old WW2-era photo I just stumbled across on Flickr (not from my collection). So, I've just gotta wonder how tall that guy is...

I'm guessing he is pretty tall. Judging by the comparison in height and where the tall guy is as to the car height of the time he is well over six. There’s still a lot of guy above that car roof line! Picture him folding up like a Swiss army knife into that car.
 
I believe the technical term -- at least the one we used when I was growing up in New England -- is "wicked tall!"
 
My ancestors are more like the one on the right!

We have a family photo of two baseball players in that same pose. "Pee Wee" Herrera is the one under the outstretched arm of the tall player. I'll have to look for it.
