Larger hole on Miss Agatha is oil pressure and water temp, smaller is my tac cable.

There is a pic on Geralds garage site.

got the picture from gerards, My oil pressure I have running on the other side of the engine bay so they run straight into its guages. Tach is not mechanical on the 1500 is it?

No tach is not mechanical

I'd go out and look to see what's on mine but considering what I have under the hood it might not be that helpful. I'll go take a look anyway.

On my 70 it is the temperature line, but since yours is electrical you will not need that large of a hole. Maybe it was just plugged?

Remember guys, the body was designed for either right or left hand drive and holes were punched for both. There are many that are unused and just have rubber plugs installed.

I don't have a hole in that place on my 78.

Tony, I've printed off that page - couple of problems.

1. I have more holes.

2. my temp and oil pressure gauges are going through on the other side

3. my heater is reversed because of the 1500 - so its controls originate on the other side.

thanks though

and I stand corrected - just went through my pics and in the background of one realized that the temperature line goes through one of the holes and my heater control goes through where I have sent the temperature control - at least I haven't mounted my dash yet.

cheers
