Finely getting everything back together on the car after fixing everything that the previous owner neglected to do. Now I'm down to choosing new tires for it. UPS bought me my new Dayton chrome tubeless wire wheels 14 x 5 last week. (drools looking at them) I was thinking of putting on an 185/70R14 tire. Is this a good size to go with? Have you found anything better? Also what brand/model is a good one to get? I was thinking Michelin. Anyone found anything better out there?

I cant find the site at the moment but, as I remember, the 175/70 is almost exactly the same ht as the original B tire. I think the 185 is 3/8 to 1/2 taller.I am looking for Michelin also- 450.00 installed for the 175. [a local dealer told me that dunlop was made by michelin now ??]

Paul, Dunlop is owned by Sumitomo. As an aside, I put Sumitomo tires on one of the Midgets last year, and have been extremely happy with them. I got mine through Tire Rack, which has the added benefit of supporting the BCF.
