Well gang, I finally set aside the time to start working on the MGC. The C has wretched compression in a couple of adjoining cylinders, and the last time I got it running, it belched a whole lot of coolant out the tail pipe, leading me to suspect a blown head gasket. So, the bonnet is off and so are the carbs and all the linkage and various hoses. I'm now working on removing the manifolds (getting the exhaust flanges off was a bear -- good thing I have small hands).

Spent half of yesterday on the foregoing, and the time just flew by. Grown men simply shouldn't be allowed to have this much fun!

I'll post progress reports as I, well, progress!
