After selling my last LBC (sort of ... Lotus 7 replica) I was looking for another project when this reared up and bit me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

It is a 1966 AH Sprite Mk III (titled as a 1967).

It looks pretty solid (the floors are there without holes! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif ) It sat in a grainery for ~ 20 years (last licensed in 1987).

I will be stripping it down to have the tub media blasted in the near future to make sure and then the rebuilding will begin.

Excellent rescue Paul, doesn't look in bad shape at all considering.
Look forward to your progress in Spridgets!

Looks like its got good potential so best of luck. Make sure you pick these guys brains - they love it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

You hit it on the head!!! I actually purchased it from the person who got it out of the grainery and removed a lot of rat [censored] out of the interior.

ALL the wiring, hoses, rubber, etc. have to be replaced ... but it looks like none of the metal was eaten by the rats ... rust eaten yes but not bad (I hope!) I will find out after it is media blasted.

It's a 10cc (1098) engine. Found another 65 that someone put in a 1275 but didn't finish it ... hmmmm? Do these things multiply ... buy one and another shows and you buy it and so on and so on ...? (Wife will kill me if I bring another one home!) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif)

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Paul
