I did not know that the Queen still had the authority to declare war, nor was I aware that official papers are still issued in her name. What a fantastic anecdote about the Queen driving the Saudi Prince about her estate.

That is *fascinating*! We've posted photos here before, showing HRH working on engines during WW2. But that story of her roaring through Scotland with a Saudi prince as a (terrified) passenger in her Land Rover - priceless!
Would have been great if she had had a GoPro in the dash pointing back at the Prince!
