But then thats the Rocky Mountains for ya.

We had a nice drive into work today at about 6:30 am. The lovely "Star Wars" effect from heavy snow falling. Stupid winter...

At least it should melt off soon.

Well you Utah boys have pretty much the same seasons we do here in Northern Colorado. Never count out March! Were getting snow today and forecasted for tomorrow as well. The weekend is supposed to be nice though. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Or April or May for that matter, Shawn (at least up here in the mountains). Rocky Mountain springs are always exciting, at least in a weather sort of way. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

I have even seen it snow on the 4th of July once. We had went to the Hyram High School rodeo {near Logan Utah}. {Yes Drew I`m origanly from a samll town {population of 250 ppl} near Hyram.

I`m waiting for the AWESOME lightening displays coming in off of the G.S.L. in April and May, I like sitting under my patio and watching the lightening RIP the sky open!

First summer I was out here (93) my then girlfriend took me up to the top of Snowbird over the weekend of July 4. They were still skiing up there. Mountain weather is always exciting.

Wow, Kerry, you're one of the few folks I know who are actually born-and-raised out here. Me, I'm from a little town in RI.

Drew: If you have ever gone to Idaho on the OLD highway straight north out of Tremonton through Fielding and Belmont ward then Plymouth and Portage. I was raised in Plymouth. It has to this day a population of a whopping 250 people. {Might have been even less when I was young} AND ...... YEP out in the boonies. A native I am! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

That's even smaller than my home town!

I know that area just a little bit--I lived in Ogden for 1.5 years when I was first married, and spent some time checking out the back roads on my motorcycle.

I grew up on a 25,000 acre cattle ranch in south east Wyoming (Thats a medium/small ranch in Wyoming but it did have three missle silos on it). Went to school in a town of 108. The K-12 school doubled up grades in classrooms as they only had six rooms. Kindergarten was in a trailer. Foreman of the ranch started a chili company that now hosts the largest single day event in Wyoming. The Chugwater Chili Cook Off, on Fathers Day weekend. Chugwater Wyoming. In that part of the world they still wonder how I got hooked on LBC's. I blame it on the ranch foremans friend from Golden, CO with the TR250. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
