I was surfing YouTube tonight and ran across a weather channel clip that has someone I know in it. The field reporter, Leanne Gregg, was my best friend's little sister. Mike Gregg was my best friend in grade school. My sister, Carol, used to babysit the Gregg kids. They lived right across the street from us in West Virginia.
Leanne made headlines herself back in the 90's when she was an Anchor for channel 3 in Springfield, MO. Her and her then boyfriend returned to her apartment one night and, as she was in her bedroom getting changed, a man literally jumped out of the closet and viciously attacked her. Luckily, Leanne's boyfriend had concealed carry and shot the man. The attacker did not survive.
