Science Channel, 9:30 & 10pm - Saturday night:

I've no idea how they're going to edit it to be presentable on American TV but... I just finished watching the original British version from SKY-1 and - although it's not uproariously funny (usually), but as someone who absolutely detests traveling abroad (except for the UK) I was glued to it for 7 hours.

I've absolutely no desire to go to any of the places Karl went during the show. None. Zero. Heck, I don't even want to go to Miami... But if I had gone, I think I'd have been about the same as him.

So if you're bored and have nothing else to do, it's very watchable - unless they cut a lot out then, well, rent the original version.

Where did Karl go, one wonders? I've seen the previews and I must admit it looks like a really goofball show, but maybe not . . .

He didn't set out to make fun of anything or make it a joke. I think he was genuinely unhappy about the whole thing. I know I would be - which is why I enjoyed it so much. Every time we get a foreign project people act as if they're handing us a paid vacation, but I've never been able to convey how miserable the whole experience is for me...Karl pretty much did though
