This story popped into my head a few weeks ago, yes, I was drinking some wine and going a little backwards in time. In 1968 I was wandering around in Vung Tau. I spotted a car parked along the street and thought it was a Cobra, a very curious thing to encounter. I decided to check it out, turned out being an AC Bristol. This was a long time ago, I don't remember the color or much more about it except it was badged an AC Bristol. Just for the heck of it I googled “AC Bristol, Viet Nam” and came up with this: https://www.fantasyjunction.com/cars/178-AC Bristol-Roadster-Inline 6 Cyl. (Stage II) The soldier history doesn't really ring true, but........

Your probably not in a hurry to go back, but that would be worth the trip. Great colors, cool car.

Body off?? Think not. Never seen some of the colours used on a Bristol before...chassis/motor. Shame it was not done to a higher standard, but sure the new owner will sort out and enjoy driving her.
