Amazon web site?

Has anyone had problems logging into the Amazon site? I've bought many things in the past from Amazon with no problems, but as of late, logging in has become a problem. The site keeps telling me my password is wrong and bottom line, it isn't! So I do what they ask and submit for a new password. After filling out the small form I go to the jumbled mess you have to type in and it keeps telling me I didn't type in the proper letter/numbers! I have even used upper and lower case. Nothing works! Even though my computer is set to remember the pass for that site, it won't even recognize it either. Any clues on this dilemma? I'm about to tell Amazon where they can put their site. PJ

Hey, Paul -

I just logged on with no problems.

Thanks guys, Basil I just cleared the registry, cookies, junk files and a few other things, plus defragged the HD. I'll give it a try again. PJ

Paul - did you also wash the screen? :jester:

T.

PS - good luck. After you changed login name and password, heaven knows what Amazon has stored for you now. Eek!

even though it sounds like a cache issue, make sure you aren't being hacked! (or phished by a dummy site)
