It was 66 yesterday, I actually worked up a sweat doing some yard work! Today it's 22 and going up to 24! According to the weather maps, it's even heading down to Docs neck of the woods. Hope it doesn't damage the Orange crops! PJc
 
Yeah, we're in for it. Oranges and strawberries will cost a lot more for you guys up there in the other 49.

We get "severe" (for us) weather in short, three-day bursts usually. When you're not accustomed to it, it's brutal. Currently, though, it is about 70°F and the garage door is open as I sit at the GPU typin' this. :encouragement:
 
Looks like the daily highs will be about 30 for the next few days in Houston and New Orleans. That is brutal for sure. I spent the winter of '79 in Houston which was one of the worst winters here in Oklahoma in many years. As I recall, the temp dropped to 30 just one night in Houston. Stay inside Doc.
 
It was 66 Sunday, 25 yesterday, 27 today and it tried to snow. Supposed to be mid 60s again by the end of the week.
 
Currently about zero celcius here in hinterland (err... Calgary), but a few temperatures in the range of -15 Celcius over the next few days, but really just an average winter temperature for us, nothing exceptional... I do feel for you guys down in the south, we're used to it and have all the infrastructure for it, but when it happens in Louisiana they don't have all the equipment to deal with it, or the extra insulation that our homes up here have... Keep warm everyone... :thumbsup:
