..who's bothered by the lack of an address, or even geographic location of businesses advertising in magazines, etc.? All you get is a website, and that often doesn't include them either; maybe a phone number, but that's it.

Guess I'm gettin' crotchety.
 
Here's an example. No address, nada.

Nope - already have a Kwik-lift. That was just an example.
 
When I was in business, I worked out of my home. I advertised in two international magazines. NEVER, as in EVER put my address in those ads, or on my old website. Sure way to get a U-Haul visitor at 0230. And with 1500 feet of railroad in the back yard, hard to get a clear shot with the 45 through the trees.
Some businesses are warehouse only, no showroom or place for walk-ins, mail-order only, hence no address.
 
I'm one who likes to know where the businesses are located also.
It's always interesting to me when I'm travelling,& see a city/town that
I recognize from the ad(s).
