Always in threes

Ever notice how when stuff goes wrong it always seems to happen in threes? First, last week as I was leaving from the class I teach for NAMI, I had a flat right-rear tire on my Corvette. Rather than a nice spike hole or nail hole that could be repaired, I had somehow picked up a 2 inch wide shard of metal and the tire was unrepairable so I had to buy a new tire. Then a few days later, the window regulator on my wife's Z4 broke and I had to fork out over $600 for that! Now, my washing machine is backing up and my attempts to unclog with a rental snake have been unsuccessful and Roto-Rooter is on the way out! And our 35th wedding anniversary (read spend MORE $$$) is in three days! When it rains it pours!

"If it weren't for bad luck...." so to speak!
I'll trade you that for this - our son's birthday is Feb 10, our oldest daughter is Feb 17 and our middle daughter is Feb 18. (We're Foster/Adoptive parents, it was luck of the draw.) That plus Valentines Day on Feb 14. That's EVERY year! And it's not getting any cheaper!! LoL

And congrats on your 35th!!

Did I mention my wife's birthday is the day after Christmas! (And my oldest was born on Thanksgiving day)

Congrats to you & your Wife on your 35th!
We'll only have 32 - if I don't mess things
up by the 27th.

40, and only because I avoided corvettes and flat tyres.

And if you make out your cheques to John-Peter Smit (PM for mailing information) I promise I will not forward any posts that use the terms "it never rains but..." or "if it weren't for bad luck.." in the same sentence as "my spouse's birthday and/or anniversary." Cause folks if you think trouble comes in threes now, they find that out and it's going to be a whole world of hurt. Forever.

But...isn't that four things? Or are you on the first of you second set.

Congrats!!
