I wonder if he was thinking "Spider" when he typed "spitfire"; I also wonder what he was thinking when he typed $1000 for a price, as it looks to be worth a bit more than that! I also wonder if it might be a scam....
i looked at that car one time about a year and a half ago. The rims are rusty inside and out. he told me that it had belonged to his daughter in southern california at one time. it had an engine fire that burned up some of the engine bay wiring. i didn't believe that it was a spider because of the wheels, color of the interior, etc. i was interested for a v8 conversion project, at that time it was around $700. he lives about half an hour off of I5 up a dirt road off a two lane road.
