Looking for info on a Saturn alternator to replace my Lucas, on my 76 TR6. I Live in Nevada, so to comply with the emissions, the car has an air pump.I am in the process of upgrading to a AAW Power Block wiring system Any help would be appreciated.

I have that on my Wedge.
Can't remember the number

Do the google
Though, I think you're the first I have heard mention it for the 6
The Bosch and Delco were the usual suspects

I have a Bosch replacement Alt. on my 74 TR6 and it has worked reliably over the years except it has to be taken over 3k RPM's before it charges. Kinda tuff when it's cold and oil pressure goes way high.

Trade number (Lester number) for the Saturn alternator is 8107. It fits most SL1, SL2 models in the mid '90s if you have to go by application. It's a CS130 unit that has the two legs like the Lucas. Here's a link of it replacing a Lucas on an MG.

It has a "P-L-I-S" plug, but you will only need the "L" and "S" terminals to get it to work properly, just like the Delco 10SI which is described in the Advance Auto Wire manual. You'll just have to splice in a CS130 connector plug and use the "L" and "S" wires.

I had that problem with the old Ford alternator I had on my TR3A. Adding a resistor across the dash warning lamp solved the problem.
