Well I must say it's good to find a good website. I just bought a 1980 MGB about 2 months ago. After learning and fixing all the gremlins, I think I just may enjoy this thing. I really stole mine. I bought it from a wifes relative for $320. It looked really bad but since my dad covers seats and I can do interior and wiring Ive got exactly $1000 in it and it looks new. The paint buffed completely back out. I put a weber and 72 style exhuast on it, nice Cd system , new clutch, crane ignition, Cam and basically went thru and wired all the bugs out. I cant believe how stupid some owners are. The guy left it out under a tree with the top down for 2 years. not to mention all the wires they cut because I guess they were blowing fuses. It turned out to be the brake sensor light wire that runs unde rthe master cylinder cuasing the problem. well I just wanted to introduce my car and myself. I look foward to reading some of your posts.

Welcome, Jason! You've got lots of resources there in Dallas, in case you didn't know. Do you know about the Sports Car Warehouse in Arlington? Check out their web site: Sports Car Warehouse

Then there's the Texas MG Register, which you should definitely join. Some great MG people belong to it. Here's their website They hosted the national MG convention last summer in Grapevine, and it was great.

Also, please join the North American MGB Register (The Texas club is an affiliate chapter.) Lots of good people, good national resources, and a great national MGB convention coming up this June in St. Louis. Check it out at North American MGB Register
