Alpine with a Ford 410 V8?

In a straight line, no. That 410 lump with the trimmings probably weighs at least twice as much as a 289/302.

In the curvy stuff, no problemo. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif
 
I wouldn't either in a straight line and I have a 351 W in the Lister.A roller cam 302 with stage 3 heads in the 62.
I have not opened up the 62 as yet because I wanted to do a bit more improvement on the front end..I know what the Lister can do and I don't need to prove it to anyone.
While his car is nice I don't like a stock Alpine suspension in the front with that size engine.It also looks a bit front heavy but that may be due just to the picture angle
But then beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it is his car and I do admire the engineering of those who choose to modify
