Hey everyone,
I just bought a '62 Alpine series II that's sitting on 4 30-year-old, dryrotted Michelin "X" radials. I'm wondering what other Alpine owners have been running on their stock-size wheels and what comments they have. Also, I'm curious about the merits of radials versus bias-ply tires. I understand the differences in construction, but how does this translate into real-world handling changes in a car like an Alpine? Thanks in advance. This is my first vintage car and I'm looking forward to getting her on the road!
