Alpine 500?

Country flag
Offline
There were about 40+ assorted 50's and 60's sports cars driving through town today (South Lake Tahoe). All beauties! We were in the Healey going the opposite way. Lots of waves. I'm guessing that if this was the Alpine 500, Tray was there?? We doubled back to the Stateline area to see if we could find where the were staying but did not find them at the casinos. Last year there were a lot of deaters but these were all in nice restored shape.
That you, Bighealy?

Yes......

We had a blast and stayed at the CalNeva as usual. this year it was called the Snowball Rally.

My car is on the far left, Debra's (newley rebuilt replacement after last years rollover) red bugeye in the middle and Brian's white bugeye on the right.

No crashes, one participant received a ticket (unlucky #50 it is a cursed rally number), and numerous breakdowns (all fixed).

All the Healeys ran without problems except a few flats to lean out one bugeye.
