Almost sent the seller a smart donkey question asking him if he's disconnected the drive shaft before hitching the TR up behind the big Ford and towing it on the ground like it's pictured. If not, I'm shocked he hasn't thoroughly trashed his transmission yet.
 
i thought the spiders were the most desireable?! and why are the headlamp pods up while towing?
 
To go to those lengths to devise a specialized towing system I'm guessing the car can only be towed (no motor or tranny?). You would get a lot of 'head turning' towing that around town all day! Maybe it's for the kids to sit in when you go on long trips in the Ford?

I towed my TR7 about 75 miles when I brought it home. I didn't disconnect the driveshaft...it never got hot or stinky (I checked a couple of times).

I know they are supposed to have some fancy-schmancy oil pump in 'em...but most anything can be towed short distances at moderate speeds without damage...

I would think he could just slide that "7" inside that Excursion and forget towing it!
