no kidding... by the time I finish reading a thread and go back out to go to the next the one I just read has new posts! :shock:
 
I keep trying to walk away but every time I post there are three more in the list!

This is where this forum really shines. The "new post" feature works better on this software than any other I've seen. On others, if someone posts while you are still typing, the thread will read as no new posts after you click reply. On this forum it tells you there was another post since the last view.

Also, the "jump to first new post" feature makes keeping up with long threads a breeze.

Well, I like the activity! That's one thing that kept me from not participating that much in the past. And I'm also not use to all the screen names... I still find that kinda weird.

MGBE shows the thread as having new posts if somebody posts at the same time as you, unless I'm totally mistaken.
 
Good lord, I almost had the list all read but when I finished reading two measly posts, there were four new threads replied to! It's like Tetris on high speed.

Oh, and if you guys don't like the general look of the forum, go to your "My Home" page and edit display preferences. there you can select from a boatload of "styles" that will make the entrire forum look different. This default is "Classic" but there are others you might like better,
