All that spare time away...

Since my accident back in January and the resulting purchase of new "modus trasportatus" I found that I've g... had lots of "spare time" on my hands. Just before the accident I had taken up the habit of jogging/walking 2 to 3 times a week. After the accident I had to put that on pause, because I was hurting so much. A few weeks ago the doc cleared me to return to exercising. So, I've been going to the gym 4 nights a week. The first day back I was cursing atrophy like it was going out of style. But now, I think I'm getting into the swing of things, and that large sum of spare time has been whittled down, at least on week nights it has.

While the MGB was a popular car to take people for rides in, I've found the practicality of the new car to be more ... conducive for hauling people around. As much as I hate to admit it, I like having 'practical' wheels. It let's me drive more. Where with the MG I found myself riding 'shot gun' more often than not, because modern people couldn't handle riding around in it during the summer.

Anyways, it almost seems the gym has done more for my pains than the chiropractor. Maybe it's just coincidental, but I have not had a 'crick' in my neck since I started going.

Hey Rob,
Glad to hear you're on the road to recovery. Doesn't surprise me about the 'practor. I went to one a few months ago that was looking for long-term patients. He wanted me to go twice a week for the rest of my life.

Bone Crackers?

I spent over $1,000., in a very brief stint, with
one of them guys. Was not getting any relief at all so
I visited our primary care family doctor. Seems I had a
pulled muscle; my doc gave me few muscle relaxing pills,
pain gone in under 20 minutes.

I've never been back to see any more Bone Crackers.
