All most 5 weeks til Christmas

Gosh, 5 weeks! Scary, must come up with something good for the TR3. How about a Tranny rebuild? What I really need to do is name the TR. I know that some of you have names. Most elegant one I have seen so far is the "Grey Lady". Classic! I like the classic approach. Oh well I'm sure something will float through that makes sense.
Have a good evening, Tinkerman

Naming your car is a karmic thing.

Case in point, I have not even thought about a name for my TR10 that is now in transit to California. Probably won't name it until after I drive it down the street, wheich could be months from now.

Isildir, my TR3, is celt for "brat". I named her that after I noticed that she set off car alarms around her whenever I started her up.

On the other hand, Katrina, my Vanguard, was named after the hurricane because it took 6 weeks to get her shipped to me because all the trucks were taking trailers to New Orleans.

Yes, I am from California.

I hope to have mine back on the road with the rebuilt engine, and differential.
May not make it, as since the dash is out, I am going to do some sound proofing on the firewall and also to the hard top as I have had that repainted. I want to sound proof it before I put in the liner.
SO many projects and so little time!
I am afraid most of my Christmas money was spent before the holiday.
