All British Car Meet- Puget Sound- Saturday

Argh, that's right in the middle of the Sox/Mariners game. Maybe I'll be able to make it up for the morning part of it.

Ben

I am planning on going, but there won't be as many Healeys due to the meet in Nelson, BC. Gone as a spectator for many years, but this is my first time as a participant. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

I just got back from the meet and it was great!! Craig Cootsona and his NEW wife (of one week) won BEST OF SHOW in their beautiful Bugeye. Congratulations to the both of you.
We had 8 Sprites (heard that that was the most ever for this), 5 Bugeyes and 3 squarenoses. Lots of fun and lots of people talking about the Sprite that they had during school, etc. Lots of interest in the cars.
I actually parked inside with the rest of the Sprites since I found out that I didn't HAVE to belong to a club to enter and that I could register this morning, so I did and I am glad!!
Bill
I will add a picture if I can figure out how to---

Beep beep, Bugeye comming through.

Outstanding.

I'm sorry, I didn't make it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif To make matters worse, the Red Sox lost the game.

Yes- that blue/white Bugeye is owned by a guy who also has a 100-4 (big Healy) painted the same and wanted them to be twins. He did the work himself and actually drives it on the street occasionally, but mostly races it.

I'm curious... does front end of that Bugeye hinge up as normal, or is that little access panel in the top the only engine access? Cool modifications.

Given a stock Bugeye's top speed, does that make it a Healey 75-4 though? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

He said that the whole hood opened as well as the access hatch but didn't mention if it opened normal or backwards. Good one on the speed catch.
