Hello New Mexico. Fall Road Racing starts 9/11-12. SouthWest MotorSports hosts the 3rd annual Deutsche Marque event. ALL cars and drivers invited and welcomed.

Tech about 5 - 7 PM Friday (10th) at track. All SWMS events include a driver school for new and/or rusty drivers. School is both classroom and on track.

Typical on track car groups are - open wheel, vintage, contemporary, student, and lapping/street cars. All groups are safety oriented...trading paint is discouraged...unsafe driving actions may be penalized. The intent is to have fun...bent metal usually results in a poor fun quotient.

SPECTATORS, workers, entrants, friends, familay are all invited to experience the exceptional facitlity at Sandia Motor Speedway. West on I-40 to top of 9 mile hill. Exit, turn South, West on Southerly frontage road (follow the trash trucks and policia cars), South at end of paved frontage road. Follow your nose.

Were have all the NM sports cars gone? What do you have hiding in your barn, back yard, garage, friends...? That machine should be operated as intended - fast, at the limit, with happy driver!

Haven't seen Sandia? Road course is very tight, 14 turns, 1.6 miles, speeds from 30 to top of 120.

Never road raced? Imagine 1 hour a day on track time. Close to 35 laps, 50+ miles. That's 400 turns, 400 drag races, 400 brake apps. All at the fastest you're comfortble going. If that doesn't put a perm grin on, your grin muscles are not used enough!

Check out the club web site in my sig line. Email me or one of the other leaders any questions.
