Our motto is Car Count, we want you to join us

April 23 & 24, 2005 is around the corner!

Please let me emphasize. SouthWest MotorSports events always include a drivers school with the event registration. We are lucky enough to enjoy a cadre of skilled experienced volunteer instructors from SWMS, SCCA, Porsche, and BMW clubs. We've never added the years but I'd venture there is easily 200 years combined high performance driving and racing experience in that team.

Drivers school attendees will enjoy a couple of hours classroom time discussing on course driving details, expectations, techniques, and resonsibilities. On track time will be around 1 hour per day. First sessions are track orientation, all sessions have no or limited passing. You will be a better driver after attending one of our schools.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO OWN A RACE CAR TO PARTICIPATE. Sorry for the yelling. SWMS allows street cars to participate in our events in a lapping group. Safety is our orientation for all groups, not just the lappers and students. If you or a friend own a hot car, this is the most fun you can legally have with your cloths on! Get out to Sandia in April, May, July, etc!

Workers, spectators, and sponsors are invited to join us at the track too!
