Albert Einstein - Car guy

I have determined that Albert Einstein was a repressed car guy. According to a review I just read of a new biography of the great man, when he was 2 1/2 years old and was shown his newborn baby sister for the first time, his comment was:

"Yes, but where are the wheels?"

Based partly on this, the family maid started calling him "The dopey one" and his folks decided he was a bit slow.

Imagine how he would have blossomed if they'd let him follow his heart and design cars!

AWW! They woulda all been relative.

One of Albert's cousins (Fred) works with me.

Fred has a PhD is Physics and is also called "Dr. Einstein" (so, if you want to take Physics with Dr. Einstein, you have to come to my little community college).
Fred has some great stories about his famous cousin.

~Albert's House~ is not too far from me (in Princeton).
In fact, I was going to a conference with another science teacher a few weeks ago. I took a slight detour just to show his old house to her. Everyone gets a kick out of seeing his house...it's very low-key and modest like Albert himself.

coldplugs, if theyd let him design cars at that time im sure the automobile industry would have just exploded! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
