Hey Jim, how did my signature quote wind up in your post???
(can you translate it?) /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Mike, just reviewed your video...very informative! What is you assessment of the car? Worth having shipped to Alabama? The bonnet kinda scares me! Thanks, Rut

I used Marhyde Tal-Strip On my 65, water neutralizes the stripper. Very easy to use and did a great job. Took about 4 gallons. Also removes undercoat with a little extra effort.

Mike only with a little help.

Victory or Death

Come Home With Your Shield Or On It

Amazing what Google can find.

That's what I feel like every day going out to fight the Spridget Wars in the garage.

I need to change my signature to one of my favorite quotes

"Life goes by so fast that if you don't stop and look around, you just might miss it!" Ferris Bueller - 1988

Twenty years ago that quote was uttered, and it seems like yesterday back to 1988.

Thanks for everyones help with this car/project...I just received pictures of the car and it's much worse than I thought...the rust worm has had his way! Looks like I still looking for a car/project, just not as far gone as this one! Thanks, Rut

Smart to wait for a better platform, Rut....

Lots of good cars out there, enjoy the hunt and find a good one.

My thoughts on that car as well!! It's do-able, but with a lot of work! The kind of car Donn would be comfortable with!!

You got it Jim...old Spartan saying "Return with your shield or on it" (literal translation) i.e. Victory or death! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Mike, thanks for your help from 'the local guy'...when the pictures came in it was a lot worse than I imagined! One of these days...Rut

Tony, I get up to N AL about once a month...hope to call/visit on my next trip. Thanks, Rut

I heard my name and decided to read this thread.

WOW! I just looked at those videos again. That thing is just like you say. Rough!

Yeah, I would put it together, but I would also do MY car, so I'm not really the one to ask for an independant opinion. I would take any chance to put one of these together.

I sure wish I was still at home. (Northport) WAR EAGLE!!!!
